The IMER 1105802 Portable Mixer; aka Multi-Mix 350; is a heavy-duty Contractor Grade mixer for use in Professional Masonry & Concrete Work. It has a strong 1.9 HP Single Phase Electric Motor which makes it very reliable at mixing mortar, stucco, grout, and concrete quickly. With its 12 cu ft Steel Drum that contains aggressive internal paddles the Multi-Mix 350 can produce up to ~9.5 cu ft of well-blended product per batch, allowing you to do larger projects quicker. The Mixer's Direct-Drive Sealed Gearbox provides quiet, maintenance-free operation. The Sturdy Box Steel Frame is built to withstand the harsh conditions found on a Jobsite. Large Pneumatic Wheels are provided for easy movement of the mixer from one place to another on-site and a Slide-Out Transport Bar for easy moving around. Fork Lift Pockets are included for easy relocating of the mixer with a Fork-Lift. How much material does it mix per batch?

The drum holds 12 cu ft and yields about 9.5 cu ft of mixed material per batch. The gap between the two figures is normal: the drum needs headroom above the load so the paddles can fold and turn the mix. Use the 9.5 cu ft output figure when working out how many batches a pour or a day's work will take.

What power supply does it need?

It runs on a single-phase electric motor, so no three-phase service is required. The product is listed at 1.9 HP, while the detailed spec table shows a 1-1/2 HP, 110V industrial grade motor. Confirm the exact rating against your circuit or generator before you order, particularly if you are running other tools on the same supply.

How is it moved around a jobsite?

It rolls on 15" pneumatic wheels and has a slide-out transport bar plus forklift pockets. The pneumatic wheels cope with gravel, mud and rough grade far better than solid casters. The transport bar gives a pulling point for repositioning by hand and slides away when not needed, and the forklift pockets let you lift the unit onto a truck or deck.

What drives the drum and how much maintenance does it need?

A direct-drive sealed gearbox running in an oil bath drives the drum. Because the gears are enclosed and permanently lubricated, there is no exposed drive train to tension or adjust between jobs. Day-to-day upkeep is mainly cleaning: wash out the steel drum and internal paddles before material sets up, and keep mix off the motor housing.

Who is this mixer suited to, and who should look elsewhere?

It suits contractors who need roughly 9.5 cu ft per batch and move a mixer between jobs regularly. The steel drum, box steel frame and aggressive internal paddle design are built for repeat site work rather than occasional light use. It is not intended for continuous high-volume production, where a plant or ready-mix delivery makes more sense.
