Rated capacity is 4,400 lb. at a 23.6 in. load center. The load's center of gravity should sit about 23.6 in. from the fork face; weight carried farther out than that stresses the truck beyond what the rating covers. Weigh your heaviest routine pallet and compare it to the 4,400 lb. figure before ordering rather than estimating.

What are the fork dimensions, and will they fit my pallets?

Forks are 71 in. long with an overall width of 27 in. They lower to 2.95 in. and raise to a maximum height of 7.5 in., so pallet entry openings must clear 2.95 in. for the forks to enter. Measure your pallets against the 71 in. length — shorter pallets will leave the fork tips extending past the load.

Does it need power, a battery, or a charger?

No. This is a manual pallet truck: you pump the handle to raise the forks and push or pull the truck to move the load. There is no battery, charger, or electrical connection, so no outlet or charging area is required. The operator supplies all lifting and travel effort. Service weight of the truck itself is 194 lb.

How much space does it need to maneuver?

Overall truck length is 87.8 in. and the minimum turning radius is 77.8 in. Measure your narrowest aisles, doorways, and trailer entries against both figures before buying. Because 71 in. of the overall length is fork, the truck is long, and turning in confined racking aisles should be checked against the 77.8 in. radius first.

What are the wheels made of, and what maintenance does it need?

Wheels are PU/nylon. The steering wheels measure 7.1 in. in diameter by 2 in. wide, and the single load-bearing wheels measure 2.9 in. in diameter by 3.7 in. wide. Routine care is mainly keeping wheels clear of strapping, shrink wrap, and debris, checking them for flat spots or chunking, and inspecting the hydraulic unit and handle linkage for damage or leaks.

Who is this pallet jack suited to, and who should look at something else?

It suits operations moving pallets up to 4,400 lb. over short distances on flat, solid floors — dock work, staging, and stockrooms. Look elsewhere if your loads exceed 4,400 lb., if your pallets are much shorter than the 71 in. forks, if your aisles cannot accommodate the 77.8 in. turning radius, or if you need to lift higher than 7.5 in.
