What capacities are available?
Capacity runs from 1,500 lb up to 12,000 lb across 13 models. The line covers 1.5K, 2K, 3K, 6K and 12K ratings, and each rating is offered in more than one lift height. Rated capacity applies to the hoist itself, so the anchor point, rigging and attachment hardware must be rated for at least the same load.
What lift heights are offered, and how does that affect price?
Lift heights of 5 ft, 10 ft and 20 ft are offered, depending on capacity. Prices run from $237.72 for the ELH-15-5 to $949.81 for the ELH-120-20. Within one capacity, the longer chain costs more: the 2K model is $264.48 at 5 ft, $288.54 at 10 ft and $317.37 at 20 ft.
Do these hoists need electric or air power?
No. A lever hoist is operated by hand — you work the lever back and forth to raise, lower or pull the load — so no electrical supply, compressed air or battery is required. That makes it usable outdoors, at remote sites and in maintenance work where no power source is available. Lever effort increases as the load increases.
What does the disc brake do?
The disc brake holds the load in position whenever you stop working the lever, on both lifting and lowering. It is a mechanical load brake built into the hoist body, not a separate accessory. Braking is automatic, so the load stays where you leave it, but no hoist should be used to park a suspended load or to lift over people.
Who are these suited to, and who should look at something else?
They suit intermittent lifting, pulling and load positioning — machinery installation, vehicle and equipment maintenance, rigging and general shop work. These are economy-grade manual hoists, so they are not intended for high-cycle production duty or continuous overhead lifting. If you need frequent repetitive lifts at a fixed station, a powered hoist is the better choice.

They are made in the USA by Vestil Manufacturing and carry a 1-Year Limited warranty. There are 13 models, each with its own part number combining capacity and lift height. Order by the exact model code — for example ELH-60-10 for the 6K capacity at 10 ft — so the capacity and chain length match your application.
