How high does the IM 8747 RT E reach?

Working height is 53 ft. As a scissor lift, the platform rises vertically above the chassis, so the machine has to be positioned directly at the work area — there is no boom to reach around or over obstructions. Measure your required height from the ground the machine will actually stand on, not from a raised deck or slab.

How much platform space does it provide?

Maximum platform length is 22'-4" (6.8 meters). That length determines how much horizontal work face you can cover in one setup and how many operators and how much material the deck can hold at once. Check it against your span between setups, and against the space you have for transport and storage.

Is this machine electric or diesel powered?

It uses an electric drive system, and IMER offers AC electric or diesel-electric configurations. Electric drive avoids engine exhaust at the work area; the diesel-electric option suits sites where charging is impractical. Decide which configuration you need at the time of order, because it changes what charging or refueling support you have to arrange on site.

Can it be used on unpaved or uneven ground?

Yes — it is a rough terrain machine with rugged traction tires and a hydraulic 4WD transmission. An oscillating front axle lets the wheels follow uneven ground, and auto leveling jacks level the machine before the platform is raised, so you are not shimming or repositioning by hand. Ground still has to be firm enough to carry the jacks.

What safety and control features does it have?

It includes an emergency descent system along with IMER's built-in safety features, and the drive and lift functions use proportional controls. Emergency descent allows the platform to be brought down when normal operation is not available. Proportional controls give gradual, metered movement instead of on/off response, which matters when positioning close to a structure at full height.

Can I track the machine across a fleet?

Yes — a real time GPS monitoring system is included. It gives you machine location and status without a site visit, which is useful when units move between jobs, when you need to confirm a machine is where it should be, or when you want to plan service around actual use rather than a fixed calendar.
