Capacity ranges from 2,000 to 8,000 lb across the 14 models listed. Each rating is a separate model rather than something adjusted in the field, so choose the rating above your heaviest lift including the hoist, rigging and any lifting attachment. The model number shows the rating: FHS-2 models are rated 2,000 lb and FHS-8 models 8,000 lb.

What spans are available, and how do I pick one?

Three spans are offered: 118 in, 177 in and 236 in, shown by the middle number in the model code. FHS-6-10-TLC is the 118 in unit, FHS-6-15-TLC is 177 in and FHS-6-20-TLC is 236 in. Measure your load width plus clearance for the legs, and confirm the aisle or bay will accept the span before ordering.

Do these cranes need electrical power?

No — these are fixed-height steel gantry frames with no electrical or hydraulic power requirement. The frame is a rolling structure only; lifting is done by a hoist or trolley mounted on the beam, and the specifications for these models do not list a hoist as included. Check whatever hoist you plan to use separately for its own power needs.

How is the crane moved and held in place?

It rolls on casters and is positioned by hand, then the total locking casters are set before lifting.
