What load capacities are available, and how do I pick one?

Choose a rating above your heaviest lift, remembering that the hoist, trolley and rigging hanging from the beam count toward that load. What sizes does the FHS series come in, and is the height adjustable?
Three sizes are listed — 118 in, 177 in and 236 in — and none of them adjust. This is a fixed-height design, so the dimension you order is the dimension you keep. Measure your door openings, ceiling obstructions and the lift height you need before choosing, since changing size later means buying a different model.
How many models are there in total?
Sixteen items make up the FHS line: 14 fixed-height gantry cranes plus two stationary leg options. The cranes combine the five capacity ratings with the 118, 177 and 236 in sizes. Prices run from $220.14 for a leg option up to $4,776.27 for the FHS-10-15, the 10,000 lb unit in the 177 in size.
Can the crane be moved around the shop?
Yes — the FHS series rides on pneumatic casters. Pneumatic wheels absorb shock and handle rougher or uneven surfaces better than hard wheels, which suits shop floors, yards and areas with expansion joints or debris. If you would rather the crane stay put once positioned, order it with the stationary leg option instead.
What is the difference between the two stationary leg options?
Installation timing is the only difference in the listing. FHS-STLO ($220.14) is a set of four stationary legs installed at the Vestil factory when your crane is built. FHS-STLO-RF ($294.25) is the same set of four legs supplied for field installation on a crane you already own. Both convert the unit from rolling to fixed.
What is included, and what should I confirm before ordering?
The listed models are the gantry structures themselves. The specifications do not list a hoist, trolley, chain or electrical supply, so plan on sourcing those separately and confirm what ships with your model before you order. Also confirm your floor conditions and clearances, since size and capacity are fixed once the crane is built.
