What is the lifting capacity, and does it drop on the taller models?

Every CW-Series model listed is rated at 2 tons. The rating is the same across all seven configurations, CW408 through CW420, so a taller mounting height or longer span does not reduce the rated load. Pick the model based on the height and reach your work area needs, not on capacity, since capacity is identical throughout the range.

What spans and mounting heights are available?

Span runs from 4 ft to 7 ft, and it is tied to the model's HUB height. CW408, CW410 and CW412 give 8 ft, 10 ft and 12 ft HUB heights with a 4 ft span. CW414 is 14 ft with a 5 ft span. CW416 and CW418 are 16 ft and 18 ft with 6 ft spans. CW420 is 20 ft with a 7 ft span.

How much does the crane weigh, and what does that mean for the wall it mounts to?

Weights range from 558 lbs on the CW408 to 2,060 lbs on the CW420. In between: 618 lbs (CW410), 678 lbs (CW412), 974 lbs (CW414), 1,433 lbs (CW416) and 1,598 lbs (CW418). Because the crane is cantilevered off a wall or column, the supporting structure has to carry that dead weight plus the 2 ton load.
