The Makinex Fork Attachment (PHT2-FA-00) is an extremely durable attachment that will enable you to get even more from your Makinex Powered Hand Truck in terms of lifting and transporting palletised and/or heavy load items. The Fork Attachment has been specifically developed to be safely operated by the user, who when utilising the Fork Attachment on the Powered Hand Truck, will have significantly better control over the lifting and moving of timber pallets, crates, boxes and equipment. The Fork Attachments' heavy duty fork tines are designed to withstand large amounts of weight while at the same time providing stability and balance. The Fork Attachment is also quick to attach and easy to operate. This will allow the Powered Hand Truck to become a very versatile material handling tool that can be used in a variety of environments including warehouse/distribution centre, construction site and industrial environments. The Fork Attachment will improve productivity and reduce manual strain thereby improving on site safety.

What is the lifting capacity of the PHT2-FA fork attachment?

The attachment is rated at 265 lbs. That figure applies to the load carried on the tines. Because the forks mount to a powered hand truck rather than working on their own, also check the rated capacity of the machine you are fitting them to, and work to whichever of the two limits is lower.

Which powered hand trucks does this fork attachment fit?

It fits the Makinex PHT-140 and PHT2-140 powered hand trucks. Those are the only models listed as compatible, so the attachment should not be fitted to other Makinex machines or to hand trucks from other brands. The attachment itself is model PHT2-FA, sold here under part number PHT2-FA-00.

What are the fork dimensions, and will they suit my loads?

The tines are 23 inches long and 20 inches wide. Measure your load before ordering: anything deeper than 23 inches will overhang the ends of the tines, and the entry openings on your pallets, crates or skids need to accept a 20-inch fork width. Both dimensions matter as much as the weight rating.

How high can it lift?

Maximum lift height is 5 ft 1 in. That is how high the forks themselves reach, which suits loading onto workbenches, van and truck beds, and lower racking rather than high-level stacking. Before buying, compare that figure against the height of the surface you are loading onto plus the height of the load.

How much does the attachment weigh, and what is it made of?

It weighs 44 lbs and combines steel fork tines with a lightweight aluminum frame. The steel tines carry the load and take the wear, while the aluminum frame holds the overall weight down. Plan for a 44 lb lift each time you fit or remove the attachment, and use a second person if needed.

How long will it take for my order to ship? When will I receive it?
