Vestil Steel Tread Plate Portable Tool Boxes (STTB)

Secure your tools and belongings with a steel treadplate storage box. With a steel construction, outside damage to stored objects is minimized. A centrally located hinged safety hasp makes it simple to secure the box with a padlock (padlock is not included).

A handle is attached to each end of the box for easier lifting and maneuvering. Powdercoat finish for baked in added toughness. Box with Casters (-C): For smooth rolling portability between areas, this unit includes casters.

Box with Fork Pockets (-F): Fork pockets are attached to the base of the unit for portability between areas. Box with Casters and Fork Pockets (-CF): Smooth rolling portability between areas, this unit includes casters and fork pockets are attached to the base. What sizes are available?

Six footprints: 24 x 36, 24 x 48, 24 x 60, 30 x 60, 36 x 48, and 36 x 60 inches. Each footprint is offered in up to four configurations, for 23 models in total. Pick the footprint against your available floor space first, because the option suffixes change how the box is moved rather than how large it is.

What do the -C, -F and -CF suffixes in the part numbers mean?

They identify the mobility option. -C adds casters, -F adds fork pockets, and -CF has both. A part number with no suffix is the plain box. For example, STTB-2448 is the base 24 x 48 box, STTB-2448-C adds casters, STTB-2448-F adds fork pockets, and STTB-2448-CF combines the two.

Can these tool boxes be moved once they are loaded?

Only if you order a mobility option. The -F and -CF models have fork pockets so a forklift can pick them up, and the -C and -CF models roll on casters for moving by hand around a shop. Plain models have neither, so plan on siting them where they will stay.

What do they cost, and what drives the price?

Prices run from $630.45 to $1,402.13. The smallest, STTB-2436 at 24 x 36, is $630.45; the largest, STTB-3660-CF at 36 x 60 with casters and fork pockets, is $1,402.13. Size is the main driver, and adding casters or fork pockets raises the price of any given size, with the combination costing the most.

Who makes them, and what warranty do they carry?

They are made in the USA by Vestil Manufacturing and carry a 1-Year Limited warranty. That applies across all 23 models in the range, whatever size or option you choose. The series is built from steel tread plate, the raised-pattern steel surface the product name refers to, and is intended for shop and jobsite tool storage.

How long will it take for my order to ship? When will I receive it?
Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days, starting the business day following the date the order was placed. Once dispatched, standard shipping typically takes an additional 1-5 business days (starting the business day after shipment).

In total, you can generally expect your order to arrive within 2-7 business days. Please note that larger equipment, oversized items, or specialized products may require additional handling and transit time.
