The construction equipment on this page is built for work full-size machines cannot reach: back yards behind finished houses, interior slabs, basements, elevator pits and remodels where the only route in is a gate or a doorway. Vovlift stocks 183 active units from IMER, Makinex, Abaco Machines, Katool and Vestil — tracked concrete dumpers, mini loaders, crawler placing booms, vertical shaft and mortar mixers, spray and grout pumps, saws and portable power. Prices span $30 to $137,749. Compare by operating load, power source — diesel, gas, single- or three-phase electric, or lithium battery — and the narrowest opening you have to fit through.

Most of the construction equipment on this page exists because a skid steer, a boom truck or a ready-mix chute cannot reach the work. These machines trade outright volume for width, weight and ground pressure, and they are bought on access first and capacity second.
Low ground pressure equipment spreads machine weight across a wide contact patch so it can cross soft ground, fresh landscaping or a slab that has not reached full strength. Rubber tracks are the usual answer. The IMER 5230001 Tracker 4150 and the IMER 5230002 Carry 230 both run 10-½ inch tracks, and the Tracker 4150 pairs that with 9-¾ inches of ground clearance and a 5 mph travel speed. Before ordering, measure the narrowest point on the route — gate, doorway, stair landing, elevator — and compare it against transport width rather than working width. The Gerris 800 Gas, for example, transports at 2 ft 7 in wide.
A laydown machine or backyard machine is job-site shorthand for the same class of tool: a compact self-propelled carrier that moves concrete, spoil, soil, block or landscape material from a staging point to the work face. Here that job is split between tracked dumpers, tracked concrete buggies, self-loading shovels and open-cabin mini loaders. What separates them is operating load, whether the skip swivels, and whether the operator walks behind or rides. Size to the heaviest single load you will actually carry, not the average.
| Model | Operating load | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| IMER 5105001 Mini Track Dumper | 1,102 lbs | Smallest tracked carrier in the range |
| IMER 5108001 Mini Track Dumper | 1,329 lbs | Tight-access work |
| IMER 5107002 Carry 107 | 1,543 lbs | Tracked mini dumper |
| IMER 5110003 Tracker 1624 | 2,205 lbs | Tracked concrete buggy |
| IMER 5150002 Tracker 2833 | 3,307 lbs | 180° swivel dump |
| IMER 5230001 Tracker 4150 | 5,070 lbs | Kubota V1505 24.8 HP diesel, 41.3 cu ft, 180° swivel dump |
A 180° hydraulic swivel dump matters when you cannot turn the machine around — trench sides, formwork, narrow alleys — because you discharge to either side or the rear from one position. The IMER 5230002 Carry 230 goes further with a self-loading shovel, a 41-plus cubic foot bucket, trilateral unloading and a foldable ROPS over an adjustable rear seat with dual-side access, so one operator can load and place without a second machine. Where you need bucket work rather than a dump skip, the IMER SL 3730 open-cabin mini loader is the alternative.
Buyers searching for a spider placing boom, an electric mini derrick or a construction lift machine are usually after the same thing: a compact, self-propelled boom that places concrete where a pump truck cannot set up. The IMER Gerris 800 is a crawler concrete placement boom with 36 ft 9 in of maximum height and reach, 16 ft 5 in depth of casting, a 1 in maximum aggregate size and radio control, on stabilizers rated at 1930 daN. It comes in two versions: a gas model combining a gasoline engine with a 240V electric motor, and a lithium model weighing 5512 lb with transport dimensions of 32 × 193 × 80 in.
One clarification worth making before you buy: a placing boom distributes concrete, it does not hoist and rig loads. If your scope calls for lifting materials, you need a crane, which this collection does not cover. ASME B30.27 addresses material placement systems, including concrete pumps and placing booms. For volume delivery on the ground, the IMER Booster 20 is a 28 HP diesel piston pump with an S-valve, weighing 3100 lb at 58 × 161 × 60 in — check gate width and trailer rating against that footprint before delivery day.
On-site batching and rendering equipment is the other half of this collection. Vertical shaft mixers come as electric units at 5, 5.5 and 7.5 HP, a 13 HP Mix 360 mortar mixer, and a 22 cubic foot towable model driven by a 13 HP Honda GX gasoline motor; the IMER 1194640 ships as a towable vertical shaft mixer with no motor if you are matching an existing drive. Electric mixers make sense indoors and where power is already on site; gas units suit remote pours with no service.
Spray and grout pumps scale the same way. The Mighty Small pumps at 1.75 and 3 HP handle small patch, grout and stucco work. The Step-Up 120 is offered as a towable single-phase 220V 60 Hz 3 HP unit and as a three-phase machine. The Koine 3.1 (4.5 HP) and Koine 35 (5 HP) are continuous-cycle spray and mixing pumps for bagged premix, and the Prestige 300 and Silent 300 Prestige are 24 HP Yanmar diesel rotor/stator plaster and grout pumps for crews working away from power.
Power source drives more of the buying decision than horsepower does. Lithium-battery machines are the right call for enclosed, occupied or noise-sensitive work: the Makinex HG E2000 mini dumper carries 2,000 kg, runs 12 hours on a full charge, recharges from 20% to 80% in 2.5 hours and uses a one-pedal electric drive, with the E1000 and E1000 Hi-Tip covering lighter electric duty. Diesel and gas machines keep running on a fuel stop, which still matters on long-cycle work. OSHA warns that gasoline- and diesel-powered equipment generates carbon monoxide, so indoor and partially enclosed use needs ventilation. Where there is no service at all, the Makinex PPB-6-15-US portable power box feeds electric tools and pumps.
Three things cost buyers money after delivery. First, access measured at the wrong point: transport width, height and turning space all have to clear, and weight and freight class decide how the machine arrives — the Gerris 800 Lithium and the Booster 20 are both listed at freight class 92.5. Second, undersizing: a machine at its limit every cycle wears faster and slows the crew. Third, compliance planned late. OSHA 29 CFR 1926.1000 sets rollover protective structure requirements for covered material handling equipment in construction, which is why the Carry 230 carries a foldable ROPS. OSHA 1926.1153, the respirable crystalline silica standard for construction, applies to concrete and stone cutting such as the Abaco stone saw, and OSHA 1926.52 covers occupational noise exposure. Verify which apply to your scope and budget training, PPE and dust control alongside the machine.
