How to Choose a Counterbalanced Walkie Stacker

What is a counterbalanced walkie stacker?

A counterbalanced walkie stacker is a pedestrian-operated lift truck that uses a rear counterweight instead of straddle legs to balance loads. This lets the forks slide directly under closed-bottom pallets, stillages, and containers, giving you the load access of a forklift in a walk-behind footprint that fits tighter aisles.

What lift height and capacity do you need?

Match lift height to your top storage level and capacity to your heaviest palletized load. Vovlift models range from 118" up to 189" lift heights, with capacities to 4,000 lb. Confirm your rack beam heights and pallet weights before ordering, and call +1 (307) 441-5529 for sizing help.

Should you choose lithium or lead-acid power?

Choose lithium if you run multiple shifts or need opportunity charging, since lithium units charge faster and eliminate battery watering. Lead-acid models like the EKKO EK14 cost less up front and suit single-shift operations. Both are represented across this collection so you can match power type to duty cycle.

Do you need side-shift?

Side-shift lets you reposition the forks left or right without repositioning the truck, which speeds pallet placement in tight racking. Models such as the EKKO EK14S-130LI and EK14CS-189Li include side-shift; standard models are lower cost if you don't need lateral adjustment.
